Private roads are roads maintained by property owners. Road shareholders are obliged to participate in building and maintaining the roads. A private road must be kept up according to its purpose, with maintenance and improvements all year round. Expenses are divided among the shareholders as tolls according to the purpose for which the property is used.
Address system
All built properties have an address: a road name and a number and a letter if needed. The property owner has the responsibility to mark the address number on the grounds of the property. A joint road name signpost is the responsibility of the road council or the road shareholders.
